Bromley Green Party members attended the council meeting discussing Biggin Hill Airport on 8th of February 2023. The public gallery was full. The Executive voted to support increased monitoring and more consultation with residents. Bromley Greens will continue to observe further developments.

….On Saturday the Schiphol private Airport in Amsterdam was stopped by environmental groups, protesting against greenhouse gas emissions and local noise pollution, way higher then those of regular domestic air traffic. ..as the 2016 Noise Action Plan for runway 03 has not been enforced by those in charge at Bromley Council in over 6 years, it is more then questionable it will ever take place if Conservatives remain in power after the local elections in 2022…to be continued.
