Bromley Green Party is proud of the hard work Sonay Erten is doing as a local campaigner in Crystal Palace and Anerley.
Here’s what Sonay is saying:
“I love campaigning for the people of Crystal Palace and Anerley, having spent almost my entire life growing up and living in the local area.
“As a soon-to-be parent, a disabled woman, and someone from a minoritised ethnic background, I know what it’s like to feel unheard. I’m here to listen to the voices in our community and stand up for them to Bromley Council. I’ve called on the Council to make our roads safer, and I’ve advocated for our schools and local facilities to do more to be inclusive and accessible to everyone.
“Our 60-second surveys show what matters to local people: housing, bin collections, the cost of living, transport, road conditions, community spaces and better support for young people. Residents also want climate action, early intervention and a Council that truly listens. I want to help make that happen.
“I’m also a lawyer, coach and advocate, and I’ve spent my career listening, empathising and representing those who need support. I want to bring that same compassion and determination into local politics.
