We warmly welcome everyone who joins us and shares our principles for a fairer society. We tripled our local vote in the General Election, have a good core of active people and increased our committed supporters to over 500 locally.

Our forward plans include achievable goals of increasing our support throughout our area for the Mayoral and Assembly elections next year and targeting one ward in Bromley so we can focus on getting the first Green Councillor elected to Bromley in local elections in 2018.

These goals mean strengthening our Green community and we invite you to get involved in our plans, in as many ways as you can, to help us make the changes so many of us can see are needed.

There are lots of different roles you can take on to help us achieve future success and we appreciate anything you can do to help us promote our policies for safe social homes, a publicly owned NHS and railways, our Libraries, our disabled and vulnerable support systems, free education for 18+, and against Austerity measures.

We have plans for activities in the months between now and May 5th 2016 when the Mayoral and GLA elections take place and a longer-term plan to increase our standing in one or two wards so that we could elect Green Councillors to Bromley Council in 2018.

Join the Green Party

As a member, from armchair online support, to helping deliver leaflets, to standing as a candidate for election, or going to Conference and taking part in Policy discussions we offer opportunities for helpful action which suits you.

Members have their own section on the national website (see below) where you can find lots of forum to join, to offer your opinions and help shape the Green Party’s future and the future of this country towards a sustainable and equitable society.

Volunteers are highly valued in our plans for campaigning work. Helping out means that Candidates can hold information street stalls, or knock on doors with a team to support them and that our publications are delivered to local people by local people.

There are many ways you can lend a hand:

  • Coming to our regular meetings and giving your views

  • Giving up your time to support our candidates in the build-up to the Mayoral and GLA elections next year

  • Help our fundraising efforts by arranging or attending events.

  • Deliver our newsletters to your street

  • Go out with our Candidates as part of their campaign team when they speak to local residents about their concerns

  • Help out at our local outreach stalls, giving out information to people on the street

  • Organise a local team so that we can get our policies to every part of our borough, increasing our reach and boost our voting power.

Whatever your level of experience and however much or little time you can give, we would love to hear from you and we look forward to meeting you soon.

If you don't have much spare time at the moment, but would still like to help, why not make a donation?

Some of our supporters have set up small regular monthly payments which we can factor-in for Election costs and publications; can you help in this way?

In any case your one-off donation will help us stand more candidates for more elections and help the party do more to support the work of our Candidates across Bromley and in London.
